Larry Mawhorr, Co-Owner, Agent

Larry has 24 years of insurance experience with 19 years as an executive for two insurance companies, with specialization in underwriting and marketing. Prior to his involvement in the insurance industry, he was an educator for 9 years. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Ohio Northern University, a Masters of Education from Wright State University and a Masters of Business Administration from Ashland University.
He has been active in several committees with the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies, was Executive Secretary and Manager of the Ohio Association of Mutual Insurance Companies, and is a Director of the Woodville Mutual Insurance Company. Currently, he is a member of the Professional Development Committee of the Professional Insurance Agents of Ohio.

Marsha Young, Co-Owner, Agent

Marsha has 16 years of insurance experience with 11 years as a company executive specializing in claims management and adjustment. Marsha has an associate degree in business from the Bliss College, Columbus Ohio. In her claims training, she was active in the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies Claims Committee, the Columbus Claims Association and the Property Loss Research Bureau. Marsha was also a member of the first class of "Leadership Logan County".

Michelle has been associated with Sloan Insurance since 1989. She is a licensed agent, and also holds the CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designation. Michelle handles both personal and commercial lines of insurance. Michelle is married and has a young daughter.

Joanne Fullenkamp CISR Office Manager, Agent

Joanne is a long time resident of North Lewisburg. She and her husband of 31 years have raised 5 children in the village, with the youngest being 19. She began her insurance career after graduating from Bucyrus High School with the United Ohio Insurance Company in Bucyrus. After moving to North Lewisburg, she began working in the Summerfield Agency in September 1989. She later obtained her agent's license for property and casualty insurance and life insurance. In 2000, Joanne received the CISR Designation (Certified Insurance Service Representative). Joanne is currently the office manger for the Summerfield and Sloan North Lewisburg office.

Amy Longberry, Agent

Amy is a 1997 graduate of Triad High School and attended OSU and Clark State for 3 years pursuing a major in business administration. She is married and the mother of 2 children. In April of 2001 she received her real estate license and prior to joining Summerfield & Sloan Insurance in May 2002 and continuing today, she is associated with Champaign Realty. Amy holds both the property and casualty insurance license and life and health license.
