Sloan Insurance Center began in 1928 as a partnership called Pearce and Sloan. Later, the name was changed to Sloan Insurance and was operated solely by Alan Sloan.
In the mid-50’s, Alan’s son, Richard, joined the agency. Richard (Dick) and his wife Winnie ran the agency until 1996, when they sold the agency to Larry Mawhorr and Marsha Young.
In 2016, Sloan Insurance merged with another respected local insurance agency, NU Insurance Center, and became affiliated with the Ohio Insurance & Financial Services organization. As a result of this merger, Sloan Insurance Center now has the ability to represent more quality insurance companies and offer additional competitive insurance products and services.
Throughout the years, the agency has had a strong tradition of excellent customer service, strong companies and professional development of the owners and staff to provide the proper coverage at the best value.
The Sloan Insurance Center handles auto, home, business, farm, life, health & medicare supplement insurance.
